Age 91
Of Appleton, passed away on May 21, 2004 at Rennes Health Center. She was born on October 13, 1912 to the late August and Katherine Perleberg in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Alice married Charles Peebles on August 8, 1933 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Appleton.
Survivors include her daughter, Lu Anne (Ray) Steck, Sunset, South Carolina; grandchildren: Paul (Gretchen) Steck, Steven (Ann) Steck and Nancy Steck and 5 great-grandchildren; she is further survived by brothers: Herbert, Alfred, Norman and Clarence Perleberg, and a sister Mary Wickersheims.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles ‘Levern’, a brother Edwin and sisters: Lorraine Eastman, Lucille Perleberg and Dorothy.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Jane Voights officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
