Alfred "Fritz" Neuber

January 15, 1933 — March 9, 2015

Fritz Neuber, age 82, passed away on March 9, 2015 following a brief illness. Fritz was born in Stockbridge on January 15, 1933. In his younger years, Fritz worked on a farm, and he also operated the Lakeview Motel in Calumet County. For many years was also employed at the Kimberly Mill. Fritz loved gardening, caring for his fruit trees, bird-watching, camping, and country music. He was famous for his many “wise” sayings and stories.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sue, whom he married on June 21, 1990; three children: Rob (Shannon) Ellis of Appleton; Tina Brey of Neenah and her fiancé Kevin Kluess; and Heidi (Craig) Kratcha of Sturgeon Bay; eight grandchildren: Shandi, Robert, Kaitlin, Kai, Brennan, Makayla, Ethan, and Tyler; and a sister-in-law: Janice Charles of DePere. Fritz is also survived by aunt: Romilda Neuber of Kiel, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel at 1592 Oneida Street in Menasha on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM for a celebration of Fritz's life. Full military honors will take place at the funeral home on Monday at 5:30 PM. Memories can be shared and condolences offered by visiting www.wichmannfargo.com.
