Alfred C. Ebben<br>“Ferdy”<br><br>Age 77, was born into eternal life on February 28, 2006, with his two daughters by his side. He was born on December 18, 1928 in Appleton, the son of Robert W. and Dorothea (Schilling) Ebben. He married Jane F. Platte on September 17, 1955 in New London, WI., and she preceded him in death on September 12, 1998. Ferdy was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Appleton. He studied at Mount Calvary for six years, and then worked at the First National Bank from 1949 until his retirement in 1987. He is survived by his twin daughters; Mary Jo Ebben and Therese Ebben, sisters in law Ellen Schmeisser, and Jean Platte. He is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and all his bowling buddies. Ferdy was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers Robert (Dorothy) Ebben, and Carl (Ruth) Ebben, and his two sisters, Catherine (Buck) Buchanan, and Mary Ebben. He was an avid bowler who bowled a 300 game in 1948. He loved to fish and was always up for a game of sheepshead or cribbage. Everywhere he went people were always asking him to tell them one of his jokes. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 4, 2006, 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 W. Lawrence St., Appleton with Fr. Bob Udulutsch and Fr. Larry Abler concelebrating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 P.M., and at the church on Saturday from 9 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will be held at a later date at Most Precious Blood Cemetery in New London, WI. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Associtation.<br>The family wishes to thank the staff at Kaukauna Clinic, the Dialysis Care Center, Appleton Medical Center and Hospice especially Mary O.<br><br>WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME<br>537 N.
