We would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Pirner and the staff at AMC for their care of Joe in his final days. A memorial fund is being established. Thanks and good-bye to Grandpa, we will miss you.
The one who taught us to whistle at girls,
The one who could fix anything in a whirl.
We will miss you like crazy and remember you Forever
as we swing in our tree fort and think things so clever.
We’ll remember the trips to the garage for a smoke
And even the time when your broom, broom was broke.
We will remember the ‘pish’ and the times we helped at the VA
And how special we were that you asked us to stay.
We will be sad for a while but in the future
We hope to whistle at girls and fix what is broke.
We love you grandpa and will see you again.
So please watch over us up in heaven.
Love your grandchildren.
