Jamie, I was very sorry to hear that your Dad had passed. Losing a parent is never easy. I will try and make it to the memorial service but if I can't, please know that I'm sending hugs and prayers your way. (I still miss seeing you at Office Depot. I was there yesterday and if you still worked there, I could have given you a hug!)

I haven't seen Alan in many years but in high school he was a dear friend!!!

Alan was always a great friend. His challenging personality made life fairly interesting and certainly not the run of the mill human being. He often expressed a desire to be more "normal" as long as the normal bent in his direction. I will miss talking to him.
Tom Gault left a message on July 2, 2016:
I worked with Alan for many years. He was a very good friend, someone you knew was gonna tell it to straight. I have many fond memories from that time, More recently, I always looked forward to seeing him for a burger and a chat. He will be greatly missed.

For many years it was my pleasure to be a friend and associate of Alan., , His wit and knowledge of life taught me many things about Judaism and his honesty in dealing with people in the retail world was remarkable. I will miss him, but I know that he is at peace in then arms of Yahweh.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I went to school with Alan years ago and remember him as such a nice young man. May God comfort his family and friends.
