Sandy and family, we were so shocked and saddened to learn of John's passing. I was trying to call John to confirm your mailing address but kept getting his message on the phone. I tried to find your address through google and discovered that John had passed in September. John was such a special person and a great college roommate and we mourn his loss with you. He was a groomsman in our wedding and we kept in touch over the years. Sandy, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please feel free to contact us at any time. David and Ethel Knutson

Sandy, Nell, Rica, Ladd, and Ben, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your beloved husband and father. The love and unending support your family has shown is truly an inspiration. John had such a spirit and a love about him whenever he spoke about his family. He always had kind words even when he was not feeling well. May you all find some peace during this sad time

My sincere condolences to the Wiley family. I remember Mr. Wiley as a good man and role model from my Bethel Lutheran days and from time I spent as pals with Ladd a long time ago. I hope the family finds comfort in Jesus' promise for eternal life, and I know Mr. Wiley is next to him today in heaven. Scott Van De Hey

It is a sad day as we bid farewell to John, a dear friend, a role model, an exemplary human being who constantly strived to make our community a better place. As a Rotarian, John was ever so kind, generous and embodied the very spirit of Rotary: "Service Above Self". No tribute is greater than recognizing that "Lives of great men all remind us We can make our lives sublime, And, departing, leave behind us Footprints on the sands of time" (Psalm of Life by HW Longfellow) Peace, John!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
