Wyatt Christopher Olson, age 16, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was born August 6, 2001 in Appleton to Erik Olson and Kerry Jo Laurin.
Wyatt loved life and everything he did. He was a passionate sports fan, following the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers and Avalanche. He always looked forward to getting out of school to watch March Madness with his dad and going out to sports bars to have a dinner and watch whatever sports were on tv. Wyatt also loved movies, music and TV, especially Batman Vs. Green Arrow, The Flash, Harry Potter and Guns N’ Roses. He enjoyed travelling, taking trips to Universal Studios Harry Potter Land and also a trip to the NFL Hall of Fame induction for Brett Favre with his Dad and Grandpa. Wyatt loved board games (he always won!), comic books, dogs especially his dog, Clarabelle, deer hunting Up North, campfires and going to shows at the PAC. Wyatt was a hard worker, most recently he was enjoying his job at Pullman’s.
Most importantly, Wyatt loved his friends and family. He enjoyed eating his Grandma’s popsicles and his Grandpa’s ice cream. He adored his sister and best friend, Kylie. Wyatt always made sure to take care of her.
Wyatt will be dearly missed by his family. His parents: Erik Olson and Kerry Jo (fiancée Kerry Foth) Laurin; siblings: Cody and Kylie; paternal grandparents: Dave (Jan) Olson; maternal grandparents: Dale (Sis) Laurin; cousins: Camey, Zach, Robbie, Ian and Brady; uncles and aunts: Ryan (Katie) Olson, Kelly (Bob) Riesterer and Dale Jr. “Bunky” (Sharon) Laurin.
