WILMER J. WAGNER

Age 74, died on Sunday March 2, 2003, at his home. Wilmer was born on April 13, 1928, in Black Creek to the late Wilmer P. and Dorothy (Curtis) Wagner. He married Dolores Schmit on May 6, 1950, in Palmyra, Wisconsin. Wilmer was a truck driver for CW Transport until his retirement in 1987. Wilmer was a lifetime member of the VFW, a longtime Packer season ticket holder, enjoyed bowling and deer hunting, and the time spent on his pontoon boat. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dolores; his daughter, Gail (Phillip) Springer, Plover; his sons, Steve (Linda) Wagner, Appleton; Tom (Jean) Wagner, Appleton; and John (Nancy) Wagner, Little Chute; his ten grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Paschke, Sturgeon Bay; and his brother Curt (Darlene) Wagner, Appleton. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2003, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence Street, Appleton, with Fr. Ken Reinhard officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
