NOLTE, WILLIAM W.

William W. Nolte, age 78, of Appleton, died on May 25, 2006, at (Franciscan Care Center.) William was born on May 14, 1928, in Appleton, to the late William and Norma (Vorbeck) Nolte. He married Karen Fredriksen on January 13, 1958, in Waukegan, Illinois. William proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army and was a long-time employee of Appleton Papers. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Karen; his children, Patricia (Bob) Hadley, Yorba Linda, California; Cheryl (Scot) Lange, Appleton; William (Petra) Nolte, Appleton; and Kristi (Chip) Frailing, Tustin, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Scot and Samantha Lange, and Lucas and Hannah Nolte. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jordan Lange. Per William’s request, there will be no funeral services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Franciscan Care Center, Dr. Eugene Rigstad and his staff, and the neighbors and friends at Bellaire Court so were so supportive.
