William Paul Schmitzer

William P. Schmitzer 94, is sleeping with the angels after passing away peacefully at his home on August 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Lou; devoted children William (Jean) Schmitzer of Rice Lake, daughter Kathryn Ann Keddell and adoptive daughter Cheryl Koepke of Neenah, and his best grandson Kyle (April) Keddell of Black Creek who will miss him greatly.

Bill was born on May 11, 1922 and was a life-long resident of Neenah-Menasha. He served his country proudly in the United States Coast Guard during World War ll in Asia and the Pacific. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a faithful Catholic, and ardent Packer fan who will be missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends. The family thanks the Veterans Adminsitration and Affinity Hospice for their support. Per William's wishes there will be a private service.
