William M. Kettner, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Cherry Meadows with his wife by his side. He was born on August 14, 1939, in Green Bay, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Page) Kettner. He was a 1957 graduate of Appleton West High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia De Land, on August 19, 1961, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Bill worked as a purchasing agent for 28 years for Appleton Machine Company. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters: Joan (Alan) Dickrell of Madison and Jacqueline Kettner of La Crosse. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 312 S. State Street, on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael K. O'Rourke officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the hospice care staff at Cherry Meadows, Dr. John Swanson and his team.
