Age 71, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 3, 2002. He was born in Shawano on November 17, 1931, the son of the late Max and Viola (Blohm) Wienandt. On May 28, 1975, he married Isabell Heckner in Chilton. William served in the United States Air Force from February 17, 1950 to November 21, 1953.

William is survived by his wife, Isabell, six children: Ron (Mary) and their daughter Jessica Koehler of Milwaukee, Ellen (Luke) Van Handel of Little Chute, Donald (Debbie) Koehler and their son Chris of Neenah, Carla (Brian) Mahony and their children Jeremy and Courtney of Appleton, Maria (Derick) Lumpkin and their children Amber, Ashley, Austin of Georgia, and Kim Koehler and her son Tanner and her fiance Dave Collar of Appleton; William’s six children: Tina (Bob) White, Joanne Profit and special friend John, Edward Wienandt, John Wienandt, Debbie Wienandt, and Sheri Wienandt, all of Merril, Wisconsin.

William is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Willie Wienandt; sister, Betty Deschaine; and a stepfather, Norb Blohm.

The funeral liturgy will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2002, at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Deacon Pete Reinl officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The William Verhagen Post #60 of the American Legion will be conducting a prayer service and military honors at 6:45 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
