We will never forget our Dad’s zest for life; always wanting to be “at the scene” so he had more stories to tell. He was looking so forward to retirement, wanting to travel more and spend more time with friends, family, and especially grandkids. We never realized how many friends our Dad had and how many lives he touched. Our Dad always wanted to do the right thing, he treated people with respect and never once did he let his popularity go to his head. We are still not sure if our Dad knew how much he accomplished in his short 61 years; how many people admired him, how proud we were of him, or what an asset he was to the community.
We never were a “mushy” family, mostly steering away from getting too serious, but you were a great father, and we will miss you greatly. We love you, Dad!
We all love you, Bill!!
