Willard C. Sieh
Willard C. Sieh, age 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 21, 2004 at Renaissance Assisted Living in Appleton, Wisconsin. Willard was born in Minong, Wisconsin, on May 10, 1916, son of the late Fred and Josephine (Celley) Sieh. He married Marjorie Gillis on February 2, 1940. Willard served his country during WWII, in the U.S. Army-1st Calvary Division. Willard was employed for over 25 years by the Department of Natural Resources. With the exception of his last three months, Willard spent the last 43 years of his life in the Osceola / St. Croix Falls area.
Willard enjoyed numerous years of bowling, gardening, and fishing. He was very successful with each of those leisure time activities
He is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Richard) Ruhsam, Appleton; his sister, Jane Berg, Wyoming; brother, Clayton (Jean) Sieh, Hayward, WI; and grandchildren, Kristin and Bradley Ruhsam. Willard is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; brothers Howard, Donald, Roderick, and James; and sisters Donna and June.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 29, 2004 at OSCEOLA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 306 River Street, Osceola, Wisconsin, with Rev. Alan Hagstrom officiating. Visitors will be received at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The interment will be held at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery, Osceola. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial fund, in lieu of flowers, is being established in Willard’s name.
