Age 56, passed away peacefully, at her home, Thursday evening, March 29, 2001, after a long battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. Wiebke was born December 16, 1944, to the late Klaus and Kathe (Kruckels) Tombers, in Itzehoe, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in the mid 1960's. In 1969, she married Peter Otto Timm, also of Itzehoe, Germany. Their marriage of 31 years ended on November 9, 2000, with Peter's death. Wiebke is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Robin and Scott Timm Holicky, Genoa, IL; Andrea Timm, Las Vegas, NV; her granddaughter, Madeline Holicky; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Frauke and Dieter Hingst, Germany; Hilke Struck, Germany; Heike and Wulf Muller, Germany. A loving wife and mother, Wiebke will always be remembered for her strong will and dedication to her family. As one of her favorite pastimes, she loved swimming. Watching her daughters in sports and coaching other children was something that she truly enjoyed. A memorial service for Wiebke will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2001, at the funeral home, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara, ThedaCare Chaplain, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 pm Thursday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for MDA, 3300E. Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ, 85718-3208.
