Wendy M. (Milner) Wagner, age 42, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She was born in Neenah on February 12, 1974 to Nancy and Douglas Milner. Wendy was a graduate of Menasha High School and spent her Junior year in the Netherlands with the Neenah-Menasha Rotary Exchange program. She went on to receive her associates degree from UW Fox Valley, her Bachelors Degree from UW Oshkosh and her Masters Degree in Social Work from UW Madison. Wendy had a passion to serve people with special needs and the elderly and she did so by working with Lutheran Social Services, Valley Packaging and local hospice organizations. She enjoyed playing the piano and scrapbooking, but most importantly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Wendy is survived by her children: Faith Meiers, Zachary Wagner and Annika Wagner; grandchildren: Silas and Malakai Lucht; parents: Nancy Milner and Douglas (Paula) Milner; paternal grandmother: Rosalie Milner; uncles and aunts: Curt (Rosemary) Milner, DeAnna McGill, Gary (Wanda Mertens) Anderson, Douglas Reinen; seven cousins; former spouses: Garrett (Jill) Meiers and Douglas Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Michael Milner (1992); grandparents: Dr. Herbert (Irene) Anderson and Everett Milner; aunt: Sherry Reinen.
The funeral service for Wendy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at THE FAMILY CHURCH (2318 American Drive, Neenah). Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
