Wayne Lindsay LaCosse

Wayne Lacosse, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2024. 

He was born on July 3, 1951 in Escanaba, MI, the son of Howard and Betty (Arnold) Lacosse. 

Wayne served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1974. He worked at American National Can and successive companies until retirement in 2012. 

Wayne loved bird hunting with his dog and deer hunting in the U.P. He enjoyed visiting with family a few minutes at a time and was famous for short good byes. He was an excellent cook, a voracious reader, and enjoyed gardening, growing many interesting things.

Wayne is survived by his siblings, Mae (David) Joerndt, Larry (Marge) Lacosse, Mel (Guy Morris) Lacosse, and Jeff Lacosse; and numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and good friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jon. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Details will be published when available.
