Age 99, died Sunday, January 26, 2003, at ManorCare in Appleton. Vonna was born on August 7, 1903, in Decatur, Illinois, to the late Clyde and Fannie (Little) Dunn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Throughout her life Vonna lived in many places; she still has friends in Atlanta which was one of her favorite cities. Several years ago she moved to Menasha to be near her family. Vonna was well known for her love of dance. She was one of the original members of the Silver Foxettes Dance Group and was associated with the Adagio Dance Studio in Appleton for many years. Survivors include her son, Stanley (Marie) Miller, Menasha; her son Wayne Miller, Green Bay; her grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Franta, Minnesota, and Mark (Deniz) Miller, Germany; her great-grandchildren, Alexandra Franta, and Jeremy Miller; her favorite nephew, Phil (Jane) McNiff; many other relatives and dear friends. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at ManorCare and Heartland Hospice for their loving care. Memorial services will be held at NOON on Thursday, January 30, 2003, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME–TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with Rev. Michael Jacobson of Community Church, Appleton, and Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
