“Jinny”
Jinny Bosser, age 67, of Menasha, died on Monday, March 28, 2005, at her home. She was born on October 8, 1937, in Chippewa Falls to the late Roland and Hazel (Fremming) Weise. Jinny married Alfred D. Bosser on December 26, 1963, in Waseca, Minnesota. She enjoyed gardening, nature and the great outdoors, especially day trips in Wisconsin with her husband. Jinny was well known as a counselor to family, friends and students. Jinny will be remembered for her deep kindness and her help to many. She attended St. Olaf College and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1961. Jinny was employed for 26 years at Appleton West High School in the media center and office, and was also a speech therapist in Neenah schools. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Alfred; her children, Julie (Scott) Jardine, Port Wing, Wisconsin; Kathy (Mac) McMonagle, Eagan, Minnesota; Mary (Jim) Egan, Sarasota, Florida; David (Ruth Canan) Bosser, Baltimore, Maryland; and Robb (Jenn) Bosser, Springfield, Virginia; her grandchildren, Kevin, Adam and Emily McMonagle, and Madelyne and Lauren Egan; her brother, Richard Weise, San Jose, California; and her sister-in-law, Mary (Bill) Joyce and family. She was preceded in death by her infant grandson, Ryan Egan. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2005, at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 North Mason Street, Appleton, with Rev. Judy Deckert officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until noon on SATURDAY and again directly at the church on SATURDAY from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial has been established in her name; flowers will be welcomed. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at AMC-Martha Siekman Cancer Center, ThedaCare at Home and Rev. Judy Deckert for their loving care. Live, laugh, love, learn
