Violet M. Goese

Age 97, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2003 at the St. Paul Home. Violet was born in Winona, Minnesota on January 12, 1906, daughter of the late William and Agnes (Pieper) Redman. Violet married William Goese on October 26, 1929 in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a longtime and active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Kaukauna where she served on the Altar Guild and was also a member of the Ladies Aide Society.

Violet is survived by two children: David (Thelma) Goese of Keshena and Mary (Les) Robbins of Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren: Lynne (Roger) Tews, Sue (Gary) Thoma, Barbara (Rev. Jud) Krohn, Rob (Sally) Wolff, Bill Wolff; fifteen great-grandchildren. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, and by two brothers Shorty and Arthur.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 804 Grignon Street in Kaukauna with Rev. Ronald Raddatz officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 9 AM until the hour of the services. A memorial fund has been established for the Trinity Lutheran Activity Center.

Violet was a sweet, gentle lady who was loved by all.
