By God’s grace trusted in Jesus Christ, her Saviour and was born to Eternal Life on Thursday September 12, 2002 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on October 10, 1914 in Menasha the daughter of the late William and Augusta (Werth) Krause. On August 25, 1939 she married Minden Deltgen. He passed away on November 7, 2001. She was a faithful member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be remembered by her children Rodney (Doreen) Deltgen of Shiloh, Illinois, Gloria (Neil) Krause of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Jeffrey (Gail) Deltgen of Menasha; her grandchildren: Melody (Joe) Flores of Belleville, Illinois, Gloria (Joe) Lima of Swansea, Illinois, Brenda Weber and Minden William (Lisa Marie) Deltgen both of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Andrea (Robert) Felle of Racine, Wisconsin, and Wenda (Jim) Easton of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Her great grandchildren Nicky and Heather Lima, Spencer Weber, Amanda and Joseph Felle, and Kellee Easton; her sisters: Loretta (George) Dingledein of Boise, Idaho, Gladys (Roland) Peterson of Crivitz, Wisconsin, and Laverne Zuleger of Crivitz, Wisconsin; her sisters-in-law Mollie Schinke, Florence Schinke, and Mavis Schinke, all of Appleton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special friends at Golden Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband Minden, a grandson Kelly Krause, her brothers Arnold, Ernest, Alvin, and John Schinke; and two brothers in infancy.
A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, 930 East Florida Avenue with the Rev. Robert Raasch officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery next to her husband. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established for Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church.
