Age 69, died Monday, September 8, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Viola was born on April 9, 1934, in Wisconsin, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lyons. She married Norman Feistel on October 18, 1951, in Appleton; he preceded her in death on August 28, 1983. Viola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a volunteer at the Thompson Center and enjoyed bingo. Survivors include her three children, Chris (Dale) Keller, Appleton; Barb (David) Anderson, Appleton; and Gary Feistel, Appleton; her grandchildren, Shane (fiancé Tracy Alberts), Angela and Cory Keller; Jason (fiancé Monica Boggess) and Matthew Anderson; and Joseph and Jeffrey Feistel; her great grandchildren, Devin Boggess and Tasha Schmidt; her sister, Rosie Danke, Reedfield, WI; her brother, John (Judy) Lyons, Appleton; her step-mother, Gertrude Lyons, Appleton; her sisters-in-law, Mary Feistel, Evie Brinkman, and Mabel Feistel; her brother-in-law, Roy Feistel; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and her special friend, Sally. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Feistel and her brother-in-law Edwin Danke. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2003, at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2220 East College Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. David Habermas officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in her name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the physicians and nursing staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital 4 South and the ICU (especially Dana and Cheryl) for their loving care.
