Viola Sophia Nitzband

Viola S. Nitzband
Of Appleton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 19, 2003, at 101 years of age. Viola was born on October 24, 1901 to William and Wilamenia Nitzband in Black Creek where she spent half of her life. She then moved to Appleton in the 1950’s and cleaned homes for many people. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Appleton.

Viola is survived by nieces: Lois (LeRoy) Tiede, Appleton and Bartlette Peterson, Franklin, WI; a great niece, Sandra Peeter, PA, many other great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: William, Lena, Albert, Elsie, Anna Alvina, and Edna.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Ralph C. Waack officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Twelve Corners Cemetery.
