Thank you, Dr. Mortara. Vic trusted you and respected your honesty in treating him. We both felt you did all you possibly could to give him a little more time. I could never say enough about how well Vic was cared for by everyone at St. Elizabeth this past year. A very special thanks to the entire staff at FVHO for their wonderful care.
To all Vic's longtime band buddies who honored him at Countryside in March, he would say, “Rock and Roll will never die – you guys won't let it. Keep Rockin'!”
To Ron and Linda Quick, Vic would say, “You were the best friends I ever had – thanks for everything.”
To his daughter Julie, Vic would say, “You were the best kid I could have ever had.”
Dad,
You are the best father I could have ever hoped for and I'm so proud to be your “kid”. I am forever grateful for your wisdom. You taught me many lessons about character, integrity and hard work which have helped so much in my life. Thank you for always believing in me, I knew I could always count on you. I will always be a “Daddy's girl”, will love you more than I can say and will miss you so very much.
Julie
Vic,
I could have never found a better friend and husband than you were. Most of our 36 years together were much better than we could have ever expected in this life. I will love you forever.
