Verna (Shea) Stacker
Of Appleton, age 90, passed away on April 25, 2002 at Colony Oaks Care Center. Verna was born on February 14, 1912 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sara Shea. On April 19, 1940 she married William Stacker Jr. They spent 61 years of marriage together and she spent 62 years loving him. They will now be together forever. Her hobbies were collecting dolls and spending time with family and friends. Verna will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sherry Stacker, granddaughter, Connie Ehlert, and two great-grandchildren, Shana and Skyler Ehlert, and a special nephew Bill McAllister. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Stacker Jr., a brother, John Shea, a sister, Irene McAllister, a nephew, Daniel McAllister, and her grandson, Korey. The visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2002 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will not be held.
