Tyler Joseph Aschenbrenner, age 34, died unexpectedly at his home in Appleton on October 20, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1990, to Gregory Aschenbrenner and Lisa Van Eyck and graduated from Valley New School in 2009.
Tyler loved everything electronics and couldn’t have found a better career than working remotely with CCI Systems, a telecommunications and network solutions provider based in Mountain, MI. He was a master of AI technology, videography and 3D printing and could solve a Rubik’s Cube in 20 seconds or less. He was passionate about personal excellence in whatever task he embarked on.
Tyler loved spending time with his family and in younger years, he and brother Matt “founded” Ben Good Soda-a “treat” for his family! He also enjoyed quoting sci-fi movies and was a total Trekkie-especially “the Next Generation.”
Tyler is survived by his parents Gregory Aschenbrenner, Lisa (Bernie Ritchie) Van Eyck; brother Matthew (Enya) Aschenbrenner; his grandmothers: Gloria Gillis and Carol Van Eyck; aunts and uncles: Kurt (Jennifer Lison) Aschenbrenner, Vicky Last, Pat (Glenn) Phillips, Pam Van Eyck, Tim (Giselle) Van Eyck, Lynn Brighum; nieces, nephews, cousins, and of course special friend Tarin Packer and her daughter Persephone “Perse" Inglesby-with whom enjoyed sharing his time. In addition, Tyler's dog Ginger and cat Polly will be missing his nightly snuggles.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Robert Aschenbrenner, Jack Gillis and Dominic Van Eyck, grandmother Arlene Van Eyck and Uncle Jeffrey Last.
A celebration service will take place at 7:00pm on Monday October 28, 2024, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N Superior Street, Appleton. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the service begins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
Tyler, our world will not be as colorful without you here, but we were grateful for the love we shared. Though our eyes can no longer see you, our hearts and souls will forever feel you.
