Troy Stanton Kallaak
Of Appleton
Age 36, passed away on April 20, 2003 from complications with MS, which he battled with for 11 years. He was born in Milwaukee to Stanton and Linda Kallaak on January 8, 1967, but was raised in Land O' Lakes, WI. He graduated from Northland Pines High School in Eagle River in 1985 and from Ripon College in 1989 with a Computer Science Major. Troy married Louise Boerschinger on a June 16, 1990 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring. Together they lived in Illinois for three years before moving to Appleton. His passion has always been to golf; having been on the High School and College golf teams. He was also a self proclaimed, 'computer geek', and worked as a computer programmer until he was unable to.
Survivors include his wife, Louise, Appleton, parents: Stan and Linda Kallaak, Land O' Lakes; sister: Karen (Jude) Ogo and their children: Jude Jr., Kaleena, Jessica of Rhinelander; mother-in-law, Martha Boerschinger, Suring; sisters-in-law Marie (William) Funderburg, Ann (Steve) Bayard, Rose (Robert) Heckl, Joan Boerschinger, Marge (James) Knapp, Susan (Walter) Hopkins, Julie (William Heckl, Barbara (Robert) Payette,; brother-in-law Matthew Boerschinger; special neighbor Audrey Dutton and their dog 'Button'. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Olaf and Selena Kallaak, and Edith and Henry Rajala.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2002 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Brinkman and Father Frank Melchior officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
