Tom Lee

Tom Lee, age 48, of Appleton, passed away on January 4, 2022 at a local hospital. Tom was born on September 10, 1973 in Phaket, Laos. His family fled to the US in 1978 to the Boulder Colorado area. His parents were Cher Pao Lee and See Xiong. He was a graduate of Menasha High School. In 2007 he married Zina Mee and he is survived by her.

Tom loved his family and enjoyed time with them. Due to his illness, he chose to be a stay at home dad. He was a shy and reserved person, but he was also very humble and selfless. He loved computers and playing video games as well as reading comic books. In his youth he was also a car buff. His Camaro was his dream car and he enjoyed spending time fixing it up. Everywhere he went, he turned heads in his Camaro.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Zina, his children, Mercedes and Eythaine, his mother See Lee, siblings: Tou Lee and Mary Jo Lee as well as their children, Brianna, Miranda and Josh; Sy Lee and Chris Levijoki Lee and their son Vinny; Jerry and Summer Lee and their son Jett; May Kao Thao and Chee Thao and their children Brian, Tyler and Harper; May Shue Lee and her children Naomi and Sienna as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Cher Pao Lee.

There will be funeral services for Tom on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00am at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Tri County location on Oneida Street in Menasha. There will be a visitation prior to the service at the funeral home from 9:00am to 11:00am. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery of Appleton.
