Timothy William Trout, age 50, passed away in the Cayman Islands on May 20, 2016, due to complications from a fall. Timothy was born in Stamford, Connecticut on April 11, 1966, the son of Dr. Monroe and Sandra (Lemke) Trout of Appleton. He was a 1984 graduate of the New Canaan, Connecticut High School where he excelled in basketball, and was named to the All-State basketball team, and received McDonalds' All American Team honorable mention.
He graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he was selected as co-captain of the basketball team. During the summers before his sophomore and senior years of college, Timothy was selected for USA travelling teams that won championships at European tournaments by defeating teams from Russia in the finals. Following his graduation, he went on to have a successful investing career.
Timothy will be grievously missed by his beloved Susan DeSilva, his adored sons John and Josh Trout; his parents Dr. Monroe and Sandra Trout; a brother Monroe Trout Jr., his wife Christine and their children Justin and Kira. Derek and Margaret DeSilva share the love and esteem all have for Timothy. Also surviving Timothy are fifteen aunts and uncles.
A private funeral service for the family will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Appleton. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be directed to the Timothy William Trout Memorial Endowment Fund for Tuition Assistance at St. Peter Lutheran School, N2720 French Road, Appleton, WI 54913.
