Age 31, passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, February 18, 2006. Tim was born in Appleton on March 29, 1974, the son of Truman “Tony” and Carol (Kiser) Montonati. His passion was stock car racing and he won many events. Tim also enjoyed building stock cars, hunting with his father and nephew, fishing with his daughters, NASCAR – especially Dale Ernhardt and roughhousing with family “woofie,” Tanee. He was very proud of his daughters: Bailey was the only girl on the POP Warner football team and Tia Marie was a straight “A” honor student. Tim was also taking his nephew, Cole under his wing to be his race partner in the 2006 season. Tim will be greatly missed by his parents, Tony and Carol; his two daughters, Tia Marie and Bailey; sister, Michele (Jeff) Griesbach; maternal grandparents, Clyde (Betty) Kiser; two nephews, Cole and godson Devon Griesbach; aunts; uncles; other relatives, many friends and racing friends and fans. Tim was preceded in death by his two sisters, Renee and Hope; paternal grandparents, Aldo “Shorty” (Esther) Montonati and great-grandmother, Esther “Nana” Tauzin. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21 from 4 p.m. until the time of service. The interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
