Age 44, died unexpectedly, Saturday, November 17, 2001, at his home. He was born August 4, 1957, to Joseph O. and Margaret (Works) Vollmer, in Kaukauna. Tim graduated from Menasha High School in 1975 and from Fox Valley Technical College in 1978 with a degree in Fire Science. He was employed as a Public Safety Officer and a Fireman at Austin Straubel Airport, until 1996 and currently was employed by Georgia Pacific. Tim enjoyed watching all sports especially football, basketball and hockey and was involved in fantasy football. He is survived by his father, Joseph O. Vollmer, Menasha; and his brother, Thomas J. Vollmer, Menasha. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Vollmer, on June 2, 2001 and his brother Terry L. Vollmer, on August 10, 1999. A memorial service for Timothy will be held at 1:30 pm, Sunday, November 25, 2001, at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 108 West Doty Street, Neenah, with Reverend Gordon Lind and Reverend Pat Knutson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church from 12:00 pm (NOON) Sunday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
