Timothy James Koslowski, aka “Otis”, age 67, passed away peacefully due to a battle with colon cancer on April 14, 2020, in Larsen WI, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born on August 15, 1952, in Neenah, the son of George and Bernice Koslowski. Timothy went to Menasha High School. He lived in Menasha for 28 years, and moved to Larsen when he married his wife Judy Hoerning in 1980, where he resided for the remainder of his life.
He loved to help anyone at any time, and he would drop what he was doing to help them.
Tim enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, shooting archery, and going to his cabin in Armstrong creek. He was a long time member and past president of the Winnebago Archers club, and a member of Omro Bowhunters club . He dedicated much of his time to the clubs and their members, giving advice and mentoring them. He genuinely enjoyed making people laugh and have fun—no matter if the occasion was a laughing matter or not! He always called people by their nicknames, and if they didn’t have one, he gave them one!
Tim also loved sports! He followed the Green Bay Packers, religiously watching them every season, win or lose. He also loved the Milwaukee Brewers, having a special place in his heart. Due to the fact, that his father George Koslowski, professionally known as Dave Koslo, was a professional Pitcher in the major leagues, who pitched for teams like the New York Giants and the Milwaukee Braves in the 1940’s and 50’s.
Tim is survived by his wife Judy; one child Kristil Koslowski (Gerry Ristow III) ; one grandchild Reina Ristow, one step-grandchild Tailynn Ristow, his sister Roseann (Richard) Tews, brother-in-law Wilbert (Micki) Hoerning, two nephews Andrew (Pam) Tews and Tony (Julie) Hoerning, and one niece Amy (Steve) McQuinn.
He was preceded in death by his father George “Dave” Koslowski, mother Bernice Koslowski, and many Aunts and Uncles.
Tim “Otis” was well loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, daughter, granddaughters, other family members, and all of the hundreds of lasting friends that he has made over the many years!!
Due to the current circumstances a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Date and time of this event is to be determined.
