Thomas Hulin, age 53, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005 in Appleton, following a difficult battle with cancer. Tom was born in Fond du Lac, son of Evelyn (Thompson) Hulin of Appleton and the late John W. Hulin. Following high school, Tom received training to become an aircraft mechanic, and worked in that capacity for Air Wisconsin for many years. He then went back to school to acquire more skills, and eventually worked as a machinist for Advanced Industrial Machine of Appleton. He was very proficient as a mechanic and machinist, enjoyed working on engines in his free time, and especially enjoyed tinkering with his own truck.
Tom is survived by his mother: Evelyn Hulin of Appleton; a sister: Joan (Tom) Haule of Santa Clarita, California; and an uncle: Kenneth Thompson of Little Chute. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hulin.
A private service for the comfort of the family will be held at a later day, and Tom’s urn will rest at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
