Thomas “Tom” Vanlerberghe Jr., age 45, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born on May 13, 1971 in Escanaba, Michigan to Thomas Sr. and Judith (Marohnic) Vanlerberghe. Tom graduated from Escanaba High School in 1990. He was proudly employed with Acoustic Ceiling Products in Neenah as a supervisor. Within the eight years of working with ACP, Tom made many good friends and considered them his “work family”.
Tom was known for being a family man. He loved his boys more than anything in the world! He went to every possible football game of his son Brad and enjoyed movies and gaming with his son, Parker. Tom and his fiancé, Jill, loved concerts and bonfires with friends and most recently camping. Tom was an avid Detroit's Lions fan and looked forward to watching each game with family on the weekend. Tom's father got him interested in refereeing for the Special Olympics. Tom passed on this tradition by refereeing for this event yearly, with his father, sons and nephews.
Tom is survived by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Judith; his children, Brad and Parker; his fiancé, Jill Shelly; step-son, Andrew; sister, Monica (Greg) Koller and brother, Tony (Jodi). He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Helen Marohnic and Emerald and Helen Vanlerberghe.
