Thomas "Tom" Roth

Thomas “Tom” M. Roth, 58, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Tom was born to Martin and Rose (Jahner) Roth, in Linton, North Dakota. He married the love of his life, Judy Bishop, at Sacred Heart Parish on April 30, 1977. Tom worked 15 years for Menasha School District, followed by 15 years for the City of Appleton. In 2012 Tom, with his wife Judy, fulfilled their dream, starting Tom Roth Construction LLC. Tom had a special love for his family and treasured the time spent with his grandchildren. Weekends at the cottage were filled with love, laughter and projects; no project too big or too small.

Tom is survived by his wife, Judy Roth, three children; Melissa (Joe) Jahnke, Jessica (Steve) Mohr, Mike (Crista) Roth, three grandchildren; Matthew “Slim” Jahnke, Emily “M” and James “Curly” Mohr, his parents; Martin and Rose Roth, his sisters and brother; Stell (John) Chandler, Kathy (Bob) McCann, Wayne (Sue) Roth, Rose (Gray) Gajewski, Paula Roth, his mother-in-law, Jeanette Bishop, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Linda (Larry) McCoy, Barb Vallard, Don (Carol) Bishop, Joan (Brian) Schmidt, Tom (Steffanie) Bishop, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Don Bishop, and brother-in-law, David Vallard.
Tom was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Drive, Appleton, WI, with Fr. Donald Zuleger officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of church service.
