Thomas S. "Tom" Gorges

Thomas “Tom” Gorges age 53 of Appleton, left us to fly with the angels on February 10, 2015. Tom was born on July 23, 1961 in New London to Harold and Nancy (Johnson) Gorges. He was a 1979 graduate of Appleton West High School. Tom worked at several jobs over the years, mostly in the paper and paper converting business. He loved football and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He also loved riding his Harley, fishing, Bar-B-Q's and most kinds of music. Tom was an all around wonderful guy. Everyone loved him and he will be missed by many.

Tom is survived by his children Ian and Cortni Gorges and their children Dravin and Adalee of Kaukauna and Savannah Gorges of Ocklawgha Florida. He is also survived by his fiancé Crystal Liesch and her daughters Katelyn and Tayler of Appleton as well as his brother Michael “Sam” and Candy Gorges and Sam's daughter Sadie as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Tom's life will be at Wichmann Funeral Home of Appleton on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be a prayer service on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. For more information and to express condolences, please visit www.wichmannfargo.com.
