Hollenback, Thomas J.
Thomas J. Hollenback, age 78, of Appleton, died Thursday evening, following a short illness. He was born November 11, 1929, to the late John J. and Marie T. (Keller) Hollenback, in Appleton, where he was a resident all of his life. Tom served with the U. S. Marine Corps in Korea. He had been employed by J. J. Keller for several years. Tom had been very involved with the Boy Scouts and the Americanos Drum and Bugle Corps. He is survived by his brother, Robert G. (Maryann) Hollenback, New Berlin, WI; his sister, Mary T. Hollenback, Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hollenback, Elkhart Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Margaret (Edward) Arndt, and three brothers, Richard, John and Jim Hollenback. The funeral liturgy for Thomas will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 West Lawrence Street, with Father Larry Abler, OFM. Cap. officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am Tuesday, until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
