Zerbe, Thomas H.
Age 88, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Rennes Health Care Center. He was born on March 30, 1916 in Niles, Michigan the son of the late Riley and Mary (Keller) Zerbe. Tom served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific. After his honorable discharge he married Charlotte Boylan in Boston. They farmed in Kenosha for a short time and then moved to the Town of Ellington and purchased their farm on Quarry Road. They had farmed that land and lived there since.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte of the Town of Ellington, his children: James (Cori) Zerbe of Guttenberg, Iowa, Ralph (Ms. Drue Fergisen) Zerbe of Houston, Minnesota, Marianne (John) Zerbe of Houston, Minnesota, and Susan (Brian Pavelka) Zerbe of Valentine, Nebraska; four grandchildren: Bridgette (Frank) Bures of Madison, Patrick Jordan of Houston, Minnesota, Danielle (Chen) Zerbe of Madison, and Jamie Zerbe of Mazomanie, WI. Tom is also survived by a brother Richard (Wilma) Zerbe of Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Zerbe, a sister Mary Jane Ahlgrin, and a sister Betty as a child.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held later in the spring. A memorial fund is being established.
