Age 66, was born to eternal life on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Appleton Medical Center. Theresa was born in Freedom on October 30, 1938, daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (Van Den Bosch) Van Den Bogart. As a young woman, she worked at Zwicker Knitting Mills in Appleton, and was a longtime, faithful, and dedicated member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Appleton. Throughout her life, children and grandchildren meant the world to her, and she will be dearly missed by her husband of nineteen years: Gerald “Jerry” Lyman of King, Wisconsin; three children: Debra (Roger) Anderson of Appleton and their children Joshua, James, Jessica, Justin, Andy, and Lisa; James Lyman of Appleton, his former wife Sharon, and their children Benjamin and Danielle; Kathy (Tom) Kurrasch of Appleton and their children Seth, Nathan, and Teresa; three great-grandchildren: Paige, Hope, and Chase; three brothers: Peter (Geri) Van Den Bogart of DePere, William (Shirlyne) Van Den Bogart of Appleton, and Richard Van Den Bogart of Oconto; two sisters: Harriet Blajeski of Kaukauna and Marie (Clifford) Hansen of Fremont; a brother-in-law: LeRoy Heimerl of Kaukauna; and a sister-in-law: JoAnne (Van Den Bogart) Gasser of Phillips, Wisconsin. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Catherine, a sister Wilhelmina “Minnie” Heimerl, brothers John Van Den Bogart and Joe Van Den Bogart, and a brother-in-law Jack Blajeski.
The funeral liturgy for Theresa will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine Street in Appleton with Fr. Justin Werner officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 4:00 PM until the hour of the service. A memorial fund is being established in Theresa’s name.
