Age 77, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 20, 2005. She was born on February 20, 1928, daughter of the late John and Ida (Juckem)Wolfinger. She married Lawrence Madson at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy on August 27, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1991. Theresa grew up at the family farm in Darboy. Her interests included fishing, gardening and especially jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed spending time at her lakefront cottage with her family near Crivitz.

Theresa is survived by her children: William (Gloria) Madson of Kenosha, Sharon (Jim) Hoots of Daggett, MI, Ken (Jyl) Madson of Kaukauna, and Garry (Tina) Madson of Green Bay; grandchildren: Jason, Jeremiah, Christina, David, Theresa, Megan, Brian, Garrett and Gabrielle: great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kendra, Anthony, Isabelle, Landon, and one due very soon; sister: Doris Mae; brothers: Elmer (Clara) and Carl (Jan) Wolfinger. She is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, and other family and friends. Theresa is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; a son, Joseph; her parents; sisters: Amelia, Angeline, Loretta and Jeanette; and a brother, Eddie.

The funeral liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2005, at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 433 County CE, Hollandtown, with Fr. Matt Settle officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the mass at Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy.
