Formerly of Bonnie Drive, Menasha, age 72, passed away on Saturday morning, September 13, 2008 at Crestwood Senior Living Center in Neenah. He was born on January 18, 1936 in Appleton, the son of Kenneth and Ramona (Goeser) Peterson. On July 6, 1957 he married Shirley Mae Schiedermayer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Appleton, and together they shared 43 wonderful years before she preceded him in death in July of 2000. Ted was employed by Banta Corporation for 43 years as a press operator. Ted enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing in Michigan, deer hunting, and watching sports.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Patricia (Don) Miller, Penny (James) Bedford, Keith (Judy) Peterson, Mike (Mary) Peterson, Jeff (Julie) Peterson; his grandchildren: Jenny and Jessie Miller, Nathan Bedford, Josh and Brett Peterson, Matt (Kristine) and Erin Peterson, Paige and Jordan Peterson; great-grandchild: Taylor Kolasinski; his mother, Ramona Peterson; his sister: Bonnie Lingnofski; brothers-in-law: Marvin (Kathy) Schiedermayer, Richard Hanosh; sister-in-law: Jane Schiedermayer; God-Daughter: Lynn (Steve) Michalko; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Peterson; sisters-in-law: Pat and Marie Schiedermayer, Doris Hanosh; brothers-in-law: Frank and Bill Schiedermayer, and James Lingnofski.
Funeral services for Theodore will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel (3212 South Oneida Street). Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staffs of Heartland Hospice and Century Oaks-American Drive for their care and support and for making Ted's last moments comfortable.
