PARKER, TERRENCE L. “TERRY”

Terrence Parker, of Neenah, age 42, died unexpectedly on February 18, 2007 in Portage, Indiana. He was born in Lansing, MI, the son of Jack Parker and Ann Ruthsdottir. Terry graduated in 1983 from Stevenson High School in Livonia, MI. In 1998, he married Dianne Van Bogaert in Lake Lure, North Carolina. Terry loved his wife and two sons, and shared with them his passion for learning, exploring, thinking outside the box, and being true to self. His career included leading technology roles for EDS, CAVU Corporation, Sprint, and NIC.

He is survived by his loving wife: Dianne Parker; sons: Max and Quinn; parents: Jack (Dianne) Parker, Raleigh, NC and Ann Ruthsdottir, Brunswick, ME; grandmother: Ruth Hildebrand, Battle Creek, MI; sister: Dawn Parker, Miami, FL; step-sister: Robin (Rod) Stanton, Holly Springs, NC; mother-in-law: Alice Van Bogaert, Darlington; Dianne’s sisters and brothers: Donna Van Bogaert, McFarland; Kenneth (Mary) Van Bogaert, Belmont; Cynthia (Stephen Chalupnik) Van Bogaert, Brooklyn; Steven (Lori) Van Bogaert, Belmont and Laura (Dan) Douglas, Los Gatos, CA. Terry was preceded in death by his step-brother: Chris Creech, grandfather: Edward Hildebrand, uncle: Tommy Parker, grandparents: Velma and Jack Parker and father-in-law: Charles Van Bogaert.

The Service of Celebration will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 23, 2007 at FOX VALLEY UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST FELLOWSHIP, 2600 Philip Lane, Appleton. Please join the family with festive attire on Friday from 2:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for his sons’ educational funds or to Mayo Clinic РChronic Pain Research.
