Wallace, Tammee Ra
Tammee Ra Wallace, age 36, of Whitefish Bay, formerly of Appleton, passed away Thursday morning, September 25, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was born March 26, 1972, in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted May 21, 1975, in Appleton, the third child of Jerry and Rita (Faduski) Wallace. Tammee attended most of her school years in Pennsylvania and graduated from Appleton Xavier High School in 1990. During high school, she was a multi-year varsity letter winner and state competitor in tennis and swimming. She then earned her B.A. in advertising, in 1995, from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI. During her career, Tammee worked in magazine advertising, political research and communication, and internet development for children. She was presently employed by Aurora Advanced Healthcare, Germantown, WI as a Public Relations Representative. She attended St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Appleton and was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church, Shorewood. Tammee was active in sports including swimming, tennis, working out, and she enthusiastically followed the Olympics. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, kindness, laughter, and devotion to her family. Her life remains a tribute to the positive influence one person's love can have on a family. She will be sadly missed by her parents and four brothers and their wives, Sean (Melanie) Wallace, Plover; Mark (Susan) Wallace, Stevens Point; Dan (Meghan) Wallace, Excelsior, MN; Eric (Beth) Wallace, Milwaukee; eight nieces and nephews, Michael and Will, Madison, Morgan and Zachary, Owen, Lauren and Noah Wallace; her loving godparents, Jane and Mark Manzer; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The funeral liturgy for Tammee will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 29, 2008, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 East Lourdes Avenue, with Father Don Zuleger officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 – 8 pm, Sunday, and at the church on Monday, from 10:00 am, until the time of the mass. There will be a Parish Prayer and Scripture Service at 7:00 pm, Sunday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Holt International, the adoption agency that brought Tammee to us.
