Age 70 of Appleton passed away peacefully on Friday, January 07, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 15, 1934 in Landstad, WI the daughter of the late Zigmond and Catherine (Nowak) Wippich. On September 8, 1956 she married her High School Sweetheart, Keith Krull in Hofa Park, WI. They enjoyed 48 years together. She was employed years ago by Treasure Island Department Store, and later took a position with the Grand Chute Police Department. She retired eight years ago. After retirement she volunteered with St. Vincent De Paul, and was a member of the Cancer Support Group. Sylvia was a faithful member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was active in a variety of ways.
She is survived by her husband Keith of Appleton, her three daughters and grandchildren: Kathy (Philip) Meyer and their children Kurrie, and Kensey all of Greenville; Karen (Timothy) Schroeder and their children Kurtis, and Keeley all of Appleton; Kori (Thomas) Schroeder and their children Kristin, Kim, and Karie all of Appleton. Sylvia is also survived by her two sisters: Mary Ann (Norbert) Smith of Pulaski; and Virginia (James) Krull of Appleton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 11:30 AM at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 WEST MARQUETTE STREET with the Rev. Donald Zuleger officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
