Age 71, passed away on Tuesday evening, November 1, 2005 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kaukauna on January 31, 1934 to the late Eugene and Erma (Hartzheim) Hohmann. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from St. Agnes and her Master’s Degree from The University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. After college she was a registered nurse and taught nursing at Fox Valley Technical College. After retirement, she volunteered for United Reading for Success as a tutor at Horizon Elementary, which meant the world to her. She cherished the time she spent attending her grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities.
She will be sadly missed by her sons: Robert (Tracy) Belling, Appleton, Chuck (Krista) Belling, Greenville, Richard Belling, Appleton; grandchildren: Allissa, Josh, Alec, Lauren, Hannah, Bradey, Connor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert.
A memorial service for Suzanne will be held on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 3212 S. Oneida Street, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for the nursing program at Fox Valley Technical College in Suzanne’s name.
