Susan A. Strassman

Susan A. Strassman, age 67, of Oshkosh, passed away on July 20, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born on July 22, 1953 in Neenah Wisconsin to Edward and Emma (Langeberg) Hayes. She was a 1971 graduate of Neenah High School. On March 2, 1985 she married David Strassman Peace Lutheran Church in Neenah. She was employed for over 42 years at SCA Paper in Neenah.

Susan loved time with her family and her cats, and especially loved to spend time with her grandson, Tyler. She loved her home on Lake Winnebago and decorating her home. She had an eye for art and home décor and made a beautiful home. She also loved to travel and go on cruises. Although she loved to go out to eat at TJ’s in Oshkosh, she especially loved to entertain and host parties at home. Susan was also a car aficionado and loved nice cars.

She will be sadly missed by her husband David, grandson Tyler (Madeline Eiting) Martino, siblings: Richard (Anna) Hayes, Carol (sp. friend Jim) Greuel, Dan (Rose) Hayes, and Sally (sp. friend Randy) Liebhauser, sisters-in-law Joan (Mrs. Edward, Jr.) Hayes, Annie (Mrs. Ronnie) Hayes and Christine (Patrick) Bushman, and brother-in-law Steven (Cheryl) Strassman as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Edward Hayes Jr, Ronnie Hayes and Billy (Sue) Hayes and brothers-in-law Blackie Greuel and Tom Liebhauser.

There will be a Memorial Service for Susan on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 5:00pm at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Superior Street location. There will be a gathering in celebration of Susan’s life before the service on Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be on a later date at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
