Stephen R. Suda

Age 63, passed away Monday, November 8, 2004, at the Appleton Medical Center surrounded by the family he loved, after a short battle with cancer. Steve was born February 17, 1941 in Oshkosh, to Eleanor and the late Robert Suda. He married Linda Greene on January 21, 1968.

First in Steve's life was the love for his family. He is survived by his wife: Linda Suda of Appleton; his mother: Eleanor Suda of Waupun; two daughters: Staci (Dan) Bourassa of Appleton and Shelley (Mark) Bourassa of Green Bay; four grandchildren: Kory, Alex, Taylor, and Emily; a brother: Bill (Sharon) Suda of Oshkosh; a sister: Marlene Rens of Waupun; his favorite mother-in-law: Alice Greene of Appleton; and a special cousin who Steve grew up with: Roger (Nancy) Suda of Oshkosh.

Steve spent most of his life working in sales, which was a great fit for his love of people. He never met a stranger. Steve was an active member of Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church, where he served as an officer and in many other roles. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service for Steve will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at RIVERVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 136 W. Seymour Street in Appleton with Rev. Dennis Belter officiating. In his memory and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Riverview Building Fund.

To my better half: I will always love you. Though I thought we'd have many more years to celebrate our love, you're in a better place now. May He raise you up on eagle's wings. – Linda
