Age 80, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 16, 2009. He was born in Ayr, Scotland on February 24, 1929, son of the late John and Nancy (Beattie) McKinlay. Stevie moved to the United States in 1967 and soon met Mabel C. Fink, whom he married in 1968, and welcomed her children as if they were his own. Mabel preceded him in death in October of 2002. Stevie was a Molder at Neenah Foundry and retired in 1992. His true passion was golf. Stevie also enjoyed music, and dining at Countryside, Van Abel's, and Hyland House.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Joan (Jerry Sr.) Sell, Appleton, Joyce Sanders, Menasha; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; his sisters: Sheena (John) Glass, Menasha, Katrina Graham, Ayr, Scotland; his aunt: Lizzie Thomson, Ayr, Scotland; 2 cousins: Jean and Ina; 5 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his loving wife Mabel, he was preceded in death by a son: John Kruckeberg; and son-in-law: Sparky Sanders; grandson: Randy Ernst; great grandson: Paul Dietz.

Funeral Mass for Stevie will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, March 23, 2009 at St. Pius X Catholic Church (500 West Marquette Street) with Father Quinn Mann officiating. Friends will be received directly at church from 4:00 P.M. until the time of Mass. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in Stevie's name to C.O.T.S.
