Age 88, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2001, from Alzheimer’s at Outagamie County Health Center. She was born October 14, 1912 in Menasha, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Mary (Michalkiewicz) Dombrowski.

Stella, in her early years, was employed at Bergstrom Paper Co., and Menasha Woodenware. In 1952 she purchased Stella’s Circus Inn, which she owned and operated for 33 years, until retirement in 1985. She was known for her love of dancing, live polka bands, drinking and having fun. She also enjoyed cards, gambling and bowling.

Stella is survived by her daughter, Dianne Lutz, Appleton; a sister, Clara Heindl, Menasha; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Viola Dombrowski; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her former husbands, Elroy Lutz, Sr. and Arthur Schink; her daughter, Aline May Lutz Brantmeier; two sons, Charles (Chuck) Lutz and Elroy (Sonny) Lutz, Jr.; six brothers and sisters in law, Stanley (Ester) Dombrowski, John (Hilda) Dombrowski, Frank (Violet) Dombrowski, Leo (Catherine) Dombrowski, Benny (May) Dombrowski, and Ziggy (Rose) Dombrowski; Grandson, Chris Brantmeier; former son-in-law and special friend, Reynold Brantmeier; and brother-in-law, John Heindl.

The Funeral Service will be 4:30 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2001 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton. Viewing and visitation will be Monday at the FUNERAL HOME from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

A memorial is being established in her name.

Words cannot express the gratitude for the wonderful and loving care given to Stella during her years at the Outagamie County Health Center.
