So cha Cavins, Age 65, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday afternoon, March 11, 2008. She was born in Harupin, Manchuria on December 8, 1942 to the late Namsu and Chunea (Chung) Kim. Her greatest joy was her family, and especially her grandchildren. So cha also enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching movies.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Patricia (Michael) Kies, Raymond, WI, Michael (Marina) Cavins, Cudahy, WI, Victoria (Dan Kresal) Cavins, Appleton, Cathleen (Jamie Hansen) Cavins, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Alexandra and Jacob Kies, Lauren and John Kresal, and Miya So cha Cavins; siblings: Martin Kim, Sonhi Cole, Kon Kim, Kumhi Campbell, Yonhi Kim, Kang Kim. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kyong Kim.

Funeral liturgy for So cha will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church (410 West Lawrence Street) with Father Larry Abler officiating. Friends will be received at church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in So cha's name can be made to the Martha Siekman Cancer Center. The family would like to thank the wonderful volunteers, nurses, and caretakers with Theda Care at Home Hospice, and the physicians and staff at the Siekman Center for all of the loving care given to their mother and nana.
